With their internal marketing team already taxed, Capitalize Albany brought in tyny to collaborate on the piece. Working closely with their team’s writer, tyny created a people-forward approach that featured local business owners and residents. Their stories, paired with a fittingly bold look, created a dynamic report with a perfect balance of human interest and economic progress.
Port of Albany: Annual Report
With over 20 businesses in their footprint and more than $800 million in state economic output, the Port of Albany is a financial force for both the Capital Region and New York State. Highlighting their significant economic impact and community contribution, the Port wanted their 2018 annual report to also serve as a marketing piece. tyny immediately saw this as an opportunity to both educate and celebrate the Port’s underappreciated role. Differentiating the annual report from the typical list of dry numbers, tyny delivered a showpiece that positioned the Port as more than cargo ships, and established their place as a community anchor.
